Accursed, condemned to breathe
This caustic life is dragging me
I am invaded with dim visions of forgotten beings,
Mammal, insect, virus, fetid flesh
Mitochondrial memories
Knowledge of this corrosive realm
Seer of struggles to come
Victors obscured with their vanquished foes
Arboreal walls, a fortress of cells, this untamed thicket of steadfast violence
The calamity of existence and its banal end
The spite fuels the hunger
Tormenting breaths
A ceaseless chase with no end in sight
Hateful lust to remain alive
Executioner and life giver
Criminal torturer of flesh
Extract my spirit
A potent instinct which precedes time
Haunted by relentless urges unrefined
The constant futile strife becomes me
A path with no end in sight

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

I bought the digital version and after a few listens I realised I hadn't paid enough, so I bought the CD from Transcending Obscurity. Effing great. jousterjim
